The Spanish niche house Ramon Monegal, based in Barcelona, celebrates this month the 100th anniversary of the Monegal family’s history in the perfume industry, dating back to 1916. Ramon Monegal, founder and perfumer of the current house Ramon Monegal, belongs to a very important family of perfumers in Spain. He is a member of the fourth generation of the founders of Myrurgia (now closed), which was an appointed supplier to the Spanish Royal House, and his training began back in 1972 at Myrurgia, where he submerged himself completely and became intimate with the most essential scents used in the world of perfumery.
